The kids will also enjoy it here as there are many water sports and activities to do on the island. As the Christmas holiday approaches, you do not have to spend it in the cold winter days with the snow, rather than spending it on the sunny, sandy coastal beaches.

The cold winters back home are repetitive and its longed awaited for a little warmth and sunshine. You have decided that you and your family will do a day trip to Banana Beach in Phuket, Thailand sounded like the perfect and tranquil spot to spend a family Christmas and New Year’s holidays this year. The kids and friends will be happy to spend quality time swimming, snorkeling and scuba diving on this island.

Known for its soft white sands and bright turquoise waters, Banana Beach is located on the southeastern tip of Phuket’s Kamala Beach. It gets its name from the banana trees lining the shore. I was looking forward to plopping down under the shade of those trees and listening to the waves gently lap at the shore.

I couldn’t wait to fill up my plate and dine under the stars next to the beach. We were told that after dinner there would even be a surprise fireworks show over the water.

Christmas morning was relaxed and tranquil. I woke up early to take a peaceful stroll on the beach and watch the crimson sun peek over the horizon. The resort sets up cozy lounge areas right on the sand filled with pillows and blankets so guests can relax and enjoy views of the sea. It was so serene listening to the waves while sipping a iced cup of coffee or smoothie on the beachside.

I spent the whole day reveling in the festive spirit. Holiday tunes played while families built sandcastles on the shore. The water sports staff continued working, taking smiling guests on jet skis, parasailing high in the colorful parachutes, and paddling across the crystalline waters in kayaks. The mood was light and joyous across Banana Beach on Christmas Day.

I couldn’t have thought of a better tropical place to celebrate the holiday season. Banana Beach had festive cheer and good tidings spread across its sunny sands and beachfront resort. I left feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and full of holiday spirit i enjoyed music, swimming, and all the water activities with my friends and family. It was truly a Christmas paradise, and we will sure be returning again to spend another holiday on this amazing island of Banana Beach.
